Meet Dierk

Dierk is General Counsel and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, charged with setting firm strategy and overseeing the management of day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining Strategic, Associate General Counsel at Centerbridge Partners, L.P. in New York, where he was responsible for all aspects of fund structuring and formation covering their private credit, private equity and real estate strategies. In that role, he supported capital raising as well as ongoing fund maintenance, financing, governance and compliance activities.  Prior to Centerbridge, Dierk was the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Hirtle, Callaghan & Co., LLC, a Philadelphia-based OCIO, and, prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., a global reinsurance company in Bermuda.

He received a J.D., cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
