Jason Copelas, CFA

Meet Jason

Jason focuses on public equity manager due diligence and monitoring. Additionally, he is a member of Strategic’s ESG Committee and serves as ESG Investment Team Lead, working closely with Strategic’s clients and prospective clients who wish to more fully integrate ESG principles into their portfolios. Jason joined Strategic in 2020 and brings 10 years of industry experience.  Prior to joining Strategic, he served as Director of Investments at the Inova Health System Investment Office, which managed the endowment in support of the hospital’s operations and community health initiatives.  He has also worked at Cambridge Associates as a Senior Investment Director, where he was responsible for asset allocation, portfolio structuring, manager selection across all asset classes, spending modeling, and stakeholder engagement.  Additionally, Jason worked at NERA Economic Consulting, and interned in the Investment Offices of both Williams College and Princeton University.  

Jason holds an M.B.A. from Yale University and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Williams College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
