Meet Aksana
Aksana directs the research and development of capital market assumptions and oversees the construction and maintenance of long-term strategic asset allocation portfolios for a diverse range of institutional clients. Her work includes designing investment portfolios tailored to varying risk profiles for institutional clients and refining our optimization process to maximize portfolio efficiency and achieve specific investment objectives. She is a deputy chair of the Opportunistic Subcommittee, conducting investment diligence and selection of non-traditional strategies for dislocated markets. Aksana also leads Strategic’s investment analyst program. Additionally, she is a member of Strategic’s Management and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees. Prior to joining Strategic, she worked as a Loan/Benefit Officer at a local retirement trust company.
Aksana holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from George Mason University. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
