Strategic Takes Part in the 2022 Higher Education Climate Summit

Valentina Glaviano will speak at this year’s Higher Education Climate Summit hosted by Second Nature and Intentional Endowments Network in a session titled, How to Build Consensus, Develop an IPS, and Allocate Capital for an Equitable, Low-Carbon Economy on Tuesday, April 5th at 12:30 p.m. ET. 

This session will dive into ideas to bring stakeholders together to reach a common understanding of how to advance a university's mission through its endowment, how to formalize what it means for an institution to align its endowments with its mission into a written investment policy statement, and how to adopt sustainable investment practices across the whole portfolio. We will share insights recently published in the new edition of Endowment Management for Higher Education, which includes a new chapter authored by Valentina on the important considerations of aligning a portfolio with your mission.
