Brendan J. Burke Joins Strategic Investment Group
Arlington, VA – May 16, 2025 – Strategic Investment Group (“Strategic”) proudly announces the appointment of Brendan J. Burke as Managing Director, Investments. With over 27 years of experience in institutional investment management, Brendan brings a wealth of expertise that will enhance Strategic's investment capabilities and client offerings.
Brendan contributes to Strategic’s Office of the CIO, providing comprehensive pension management and analytic skills for client relationships. He will also contribute to the Public Markets and Opportunistic investment teams, focusing on market and manager analytics, and will serve as a voting member of the Fixed Income Subcommittee. His addition deepens the expertise of Strategic’s long-tenured Investment team, whose senior members average 28 years of industry experience and 13 years with the firm.

Before joining Strategic, Brendan spent 15 years at Lockheed Martin, managing the Fixed Income investments of the company's Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution retirement plans. His tenure at Lockheed Martin was marked by strategic oversight of substantial pension assets, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term financial objectives.
Brendan's career also includes significant roles at PNC Capital Advisors as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, and at ASB Capital Management as Vice President and Credit Analyst.
Brendan holds an M.B.A. from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.A. from Fordham University.
