Lauren leads Strategic's Human Resources function. She is also a member of Strategic’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, a cross-functional team that works to develop and retain diverse talent both within the firm and within the financial industry, to encourage and evaluate diversity within our sphere of influence (our firm, our managers, our vendors), and to foster an equitable and respectful work environment throughout the firm.
Prior to joining Strategic, Lauren was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at American Capital, Ltd. She previously was also a Senior Director of Human Resources at CoStar Group, Inc., Senior Human Resources Manager for the Pepsi-Cola Company and the Head of Human Resources at Morton’s Restaurant Group. She was recently named to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s 2021 Partners in Diversity cohort. Lauren is a member of the DePaul University Master of Science in Human Resources Advisory Council. She also serves on the Board and is Treasurer of Westland Middle School’s PTSA. She is a former Board Member of MentorPrize. She also formerly served on the Boards and as Treasurer for Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Sports Boosters and the Somerset Elementary School Educational Foundation. Lauren was a contributing author of Inside of Minds-Leveraging HR Metrics: Leading HR Executives on Adding Value, Evaluating Productivity, and Demonstrating Tangible Results.
Lauren holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Commerce from DePaul University.
