Meet Ken
Ken leads the Client Portfolio Management team and directs the development, implementation, and ongoing management of client-focused investment solutions leveraging the full resources of the firm. He has over two decades of endowment investment experience including leadership roles at the Brown University Investment Office (Managing Director and Acting CIO) and the Princeton University Investment Company, as well as extensive asset allocation, manager selection, and risk management experience and a deep background in private investments. He chairs Strategic’s ESG Committee, a cross-functional team that directs and coordinates Strategic’s multifaceted ESG solutions and research, and is a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, a cross-functional team that works to encourage and evaluate diversity within our sphere of influence (our firm, our managers, our vendors) and to foster an equitable and respectful work environment throughout the firm. Prior to joining Strategic, he was the Chief Investment Officer of Mercer’s not-for-profit institutional client team, which managed $4 billion in discretionary assets for over thirty clients. Ken is Investment Committee Chair of Temple Beth-El of Rhode Island. He formerly served as Investment Committee Chair and member of the Board of Directors of The Wheeler School, a member of the Rhode Island Public Radio Board of Directors, and a member of the investment committees of Lifespan Hospitals and the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island.
Ken holds a B.S. in Management Science with a concentration in Finance from MIT. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Washington, D.C.
